Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 June 2026
1. Who we are
LIQUI is a corporate insolvency intelligence platform operated by TRUVERI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16781739, with its registered office at Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ("we", "us", "our").
In these Terms, "LIQUI", "the platform" and "the service" mean the website at https://www.liqui.uk and any associated tools, feeds, data, reports and features we provide.
By accessing or using LIQUI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Definitions
- "Content" means all data, text, notices, indexes, scores, reports, case studies and other material made available through LIQUI.
- "Public Record Data" means information we draw from public sources, including The Gazette and Companies House.
- "User", "you" means any person who accesses LIQUI, whether or not you hold an account.
- "Account" means a registered user account on LIQUI.
3. The service
LIQUI tracks corporate insolvency events in the United Kingdom and turns them into structured intelligence. We aggregate, organise and enrich publicly available information, including insolvency notices published in The Gazette and company information published by Companies House, and we present it alongside indexes, summaries and analysis.
LIQUI is an information and intelligence service for professional users such as insolvency practitioners, creditors, advisers, lenders and other parties involved in corporate insolvency. It is provided to help you find, monitor and understand insolvency events. It is not a credit reference agency, a regulated information service or a source of professional advice.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and using LIQUI for business or professional purposes. By using the platform you confirm that you are doing so in connection with your trade, business, craft or profession, and not as a consumer. If you register on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
5. Accounts
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@liqui.uk if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, that are used unlawfully, or that put the platform or other users at risk.
6. Accuracy, data sources and no reliance
Please read this section carefully. It is central to how LIQUI works.
LIQUI compiles information from third party public sources and from automated processing. While we take reasonable care, we do not warrant that any Content is accurate, complete, current or free from error. Public records can be delayed, amended, withdrawn or wrong at source, and our matching and enrichment of that data may contain errors.
Content is provided for general information only. It is not legal, financial, accounting, credit, investment, insolvency or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the official public record. You should always verify anything that matters against primary sources, including The Gazette (https://www.thegazette.co.uk) and Companies House (https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/companies-house), and take your own professional advice before acting.
You use LIQUI Content at your own risk. We are not responsible for any decision you make, or any action you take or do not take, in reliance on the platform.
7. Reporting inaccurate information
If you believe information on LIQUI about a company, an individual or an insolvency event is inaccurate, out of date or should not appear, you can contact us at privacy@liqui.uk. We will review the request and, where appropriate, correct, update, restrict or remove the relevant information. Where data reflects the public record, we may direct you to the source so the underlying record can be corrected. See also the Privacy Policy for the rights of individuals.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use LIQUI for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
- use Content to harass, intimidate, defame or unlawfully discriminate against any person or business;
- use Content for unsolicited marketing, debt collection harassment, or any purpose that breaches data protection or consumer protection law;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, bulk download, mirror or systematically extract Content except through any interface or export we expressly provide;
- resell, redistribute, sublicense or commercially exploit Content as a standalone data product without our written permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, its accounts or its underlying systems;
- introduce malicious code, or interfere with the performance, security or integrity of the platform;
- reverse engineer or copy the structure, look and feel, or proprietary methodology of LIQUI.
9. Intellectual property
The underlying public records remain the property of their respective sources. However, the LIQUI platform, including its design, code, branding, indexes, scoring, structure, compilations, analysis and editorial content, is owned by TRUVERI LTD or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use LIQUI for your own internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. All other rights are reserved.
"LIQUI" and "TRUVERI" and our logos are our trade marks and may not be used without our permission.
10. AI features
LIQUI may offer AI assisted features, such as "Ask LIQUI", that generate summaries or answers from underlying data. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect, may misinterpret data, and must not be relied on as a statement of fact or as advice. The "no reliance" terms in section 6 apply in full to any AI generated output. Do not submit confidential, sensitive or personal information into AI features that you are not authorised to share.
11. Subscriptions and payment
LIQUI offers a free tier and may offer paid plans. Where you take a paid plan:
- prices, features and billing frequency are as shown at the point of purchase;
- fees are payable in advance and are processed by our payment provider, Stripe;
- unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled;
- you can cancel future renewals at any time through your account or by contacting us, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period;
- except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.
As LIQUI is supplied for business use, statutory consumer cancellation rights generally do not apply. We may change pricing on reasonable notice, with changes applying from your next renewal.
12. Third party sources and links
LIQUI relies on and links to third party sources and services. We do not control those sources and are not responsible for their content, availability or accuracy. Your use of any third party service is subject to that third party's own terms.
13. Availability
We aim to keep LIQUI available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free operation, and we may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, loss or corruption of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, however arising;
- we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on Content, from inaccuracies in Content, or from any decision you make using the platform;
- our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the platform, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited in aggregate to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred pounds (£100).
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses we suffer arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your unlawful use of Content.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably consider it necessary to protect the platform, other users or third parties. You may stop using LIQUI and close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
17. Data protection
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date. Material changes affecting registered users will be notified by email or in the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
